None of that says "We couldn't find the file you tried to open." - or does 1032 indicate that? I couldn't find a reference to 1032 in the XML list of SDK errors I did find. I created an error intentionally by renaming the QB file and get an error, as you would expect, including the number 1429 in AERROR, "OLE IDispatch exception." in AERROR, "Could not Start QB" in AERROR, ".1" in AERROR and 1032 in AERROR. Indeed, it would be really nice to be able to indicate to QB, through the SDK that we don't care about updates, so keep going. Easy-to-use components for accessing QuickBooks and automating accounting tasks. it would be nice to know more about "why" so an intelligent message could be displayed to the user, rather than some OLE gibberish. The Firebase SDK for iOS enables access to the Firebase services for iOS. However, it seems that trying to open an SDK connection to QB with that same "opening" error will fail, but without any meaningful information about why the failure occurred.
#Quickbooks sdk 13 download
1) can anyone point me to a *current* and *complete* listing of the error codes that the SDK returns? 2) can anyone tell me what kind of errors get returned when QB needs additional information when "opening"?įor example, if you run QB as a normal user, not using the SDK, and get a starting message, such as "Updates are available, do you want to download them?", you can, when doing this interactively, respond. I have two questions related to QB errors. With some help from Marcia Akins and Frank Cazabon, I've bot most everything working well. I am using the most recent (7.0) version of Intuit's Quickbooks SDK with VFP 9.
